On this day may many come to know that -There is coming a day.  May we each be ready for that day when every knee will bow and every tongue- (wherever they may be) will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

If today you should feel like your whole world is falling apart, remember this promise from the Creator of everything -the God of peace who loves you compassionately.

Isaiah 54:10 For even if the mountains walk away and the hills fall to pieces, My love won't walk away from you, my covenant commitment of peace won't fall apart." The GOD who has compassion on you says so

God is very patient with us. giving us time to grow and mature. As we grow and mature we must, in turn, learn to be patient with God.  God sees us and hears us. He knows when the time is just right to send what we seek. Be patient. Sometimes God chooses to do a slow and sure work.

Meanwhile, friends, wait patiently for the Master's Arrival. You see farmers do this all the time, waiting for their valuable crops to mature, patiently letting the rain do its slow but sure work. James 5:7

Today  - Do (literally) unto others (everyone) as you would have them do unto you in both deed and word.  We can choose to build up and restore those who fall or further tear down and destroy them with words that wound... May we be doers of the Word and love as God loves.      If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day's out. Galatians 6:1

On this day if you should find yourself in the midst of trouble; hold your head up high for God has concealed you in a safe place. Sing to Him... Praise Him... SHOUT FOR JOY for He has placed you high on a rock out of the enemy's reach.  Hallelujah!

Psalm 27:5 For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. 6 Then I will hold my head high, above my enemies who surround me. At his Tabernacle I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the LORD with music.

When we feel we have drifted far and arrived at our lowest point with our hearts and spirits bruised and broken; there is One who comes to our rescue. God lovingly mends broken hearts and gives us strength through His Spirit to carry on once again.

Ezekiel 34:16 "I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and strengthen the sick

Half-hearted thank-yous don't move the heart of most people very much. What about God?  Today move the heart of God.  Give thanks to Him with your whole heart. May we each glorify His glorious name today and forevermore.

Psalms 86:12 I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.

Are you looking up and wishing on stars? Wishes are just prayers desiring to be prayed.  Instead of wishing on stars, look up and pray to the Son. Jesus hears and answers and gives us what we desire when we turn our eyes and our ways to Him.
Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.

To complain and grumble about things and people doesn't accomplish a lot or change a lot.  Be patient in this present world for the return of Jesus Christ is very near!

James 5:8 You, too, must be patient. And take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near. 9 Don't grumble about each other, my brothers and sisters, or God will judge you. For look! The great Judge is coming. He is standing at the door!

When I Was A Kid
That moment when you hear your kid say, "when I was a kid" (no matter how old they are) and you suddenly realize they haven't been a kid in a long time. You quickly search through your memory files in a flash for all their precious childhood moments you shared making sure you haven't forgotten. You get this kid's memories mixed up with that one's... And it kind of hits you like a ton of bricks and you feel not only officially old, but more so officially sad. Enjoy your life. It passes by very quickly.

Lord, I repent for anything I have done to fail you. Change my mind, purpose, opinion, inclination, and conduct not just somewhat but totally, on a daily basis to be more like You. Amen This is my prayer.

Matthew 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand
