2-1 We have all prayed prayers that we haven't seen answered yet. Are you ready for God to answer them? By 'ready' I don't mean in a hurry for it to be done, I mean prepared for how the answer might come. God doesn't always answer as we expect but He really answers. Believe!!!! He might even send an angel your way. Read Acts 12:5-11

2-2 Has anyone besides me ever done anything they are not proud of? If you are not perfect I think your answer is "yes." Don't allow past mistakes to block the future God has for you. Satan tries to shame us with our past, but if God has forgiven and forgotten, so should we   Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. Isaiah 54:4

2-3 When you are standing for Godly principles it is of utmost importance that you never back down or compromise your beliefs. God not only sees every battle you are in, He is there with you in the battle. He will give you His words. He will guide your actions. Don't fight in the flesh, but in the Spirit. Thou art my battle-ax and weapons of war. Jeremiah 51:20

2-4 All Christians have a ministry. Some sing, some preach, some quietly work in the background, many minister to their families. Through these things, each of us should be bringing others to Christ. Wherever God has you, don't let anything stop you. Keep your mind focused on God and complete the work He has given you.  But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at bringing others to Christ. Complete the ministry God has given you. II Timothy 4:5

2-5 When the foundations of your world as you know it are shaken...when people and situations you thought to be steadfast and true change suddenly...when no peace is to be found in the once familiar...Look to God who offers unchangeable unshakable peace.  For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

Isaiah 54:10

2-8 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; Exodus 15:22 In this verse 'habitation' can be translated as 'praise' The Lord inhabits the praises of His people. Let's get our praise on today and make sure we have one prepared for the Lord to inhabit at all times!

2-10 Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life...No man comes to the Father except through Him. Not only is He the way... He is also the actual Door which we may enter through and be saved!!!! GPS and entrance to the greatest destination all in one...I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10:9

2-11 "Somewhere over the rainbow" and"All that glitters is not gold" are both familiar phrases. Someday we will behold God in all His glory brilliantly glittering surrounded by a beautiful rainbow. Wow, so that is what is at the end of a rainbow!! So much better than a pot of gold! I can't wait to be there.  The one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones – jasper and carnelian. And the glow of an emerald circled his throne like a rainbow. Revelations 4:3

2-13 After you have experienced the power of God why in the world would you want to go back to where you once were? If you have gone back, return to God today, He is waiting on you with open arms. And now that you have found God (or should I say, now that God has found you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual powers of this world. Galatians 4:9

2-15 Remember playing tug of war when you were a kid? Remember what it felt like as the person in front of you fell and the person behind you let go? You could do one of two things as your "team" disappeared: give up or pull harder. As members of "God's Team" Christians are in a spiritual war where some disappear who once pulled with us. How will you react in a battle to such circumstances?  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. I Timothy 6:12

2-16 People who know they should be saved sometime think they have to wait till a "proper" setting, just the right "altar call" to be made new... Today is the day of your salvation! Call on the name of the Lord. It is simple. The altar call from Acts 22 says it all. And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Acts 22:16

2-17 God is always near and always faithful, even when we are faithless. The day will come when good will triumph over evil forever. Until then the call that was issued long ago still stands for men to turn from evil to God who is so good to us. Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah1:3

As we strive to move forward realization sets in that forward is not always easy. The enemy sets obstacles in our path of all kinds. Sometimes the biggest obstacle he uses is ourselves. My, we realize who we are through Christ and move forward. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.      Romans 8:37

2-22 Just a prayer for today...."Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. "Now arise, O LORD God, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, may your saints rejoice in your goodness.
II Chronicles 6:40-41

2-23 It is a new day! Be thankful that God has allowed you to be a part of this new day no matter how you feel or what you think, KNOW God is your source and your strength and your song. Sing to Him a new song. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. Psalm 98:1

2-24 Today as I saw gas prices climbing and heard of revolutions around the world I felt kind of weak and helpless. Then I remembered that to serve God successfully we must have a sense of our own weaknesses and of not being in control. God is in control of all things. He is strong even when things seem to be falling apart and we feel helpless. For my strength is made perfect in weakness."-2 Corinthians 12:9

2-26 What a beautiful day God has given us!!!! May God bless us all on this magnificent day and may we bless God in all we do today. And let the beauty and delightfulness and favor of the Lord our God be upon us; confirm and establish the work of our hands--yes, the work of our hands, confirm and establish it. Psalm 90:17

2-28 Remember to guard what you hear and what you say; what you learn and what you teach. The world is listening and awaiting salvation. Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you. I Timothy 4:16
