Morning Minute 11-30

If today you should be ready to throw in the towel and find yourself asking, "What is the point?" Don't give up! Look within and find the God-given strength to press on. It will be worth it all one day. I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward. Philippians 3:14

Morning Minute 11-29

As we enter into this season of giving most of us daily experience requests for those in need crying out for help. It is good to give, but also good to let God guide us in our giving, in our coming and in our going also. Today ask God for His Spirit to guide you through this and every season. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. Romans 8:14

Morning Minute 11-28

Listen carefully to sound doctrine today. Be an open vessel to learn from God's Word. After you learn to find someone to share it with. The world needs to hear the Truth. Keep a close watch on yourself and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right, and God will save you and those who hear you. I Timothy 4:16

Morning Minute 11-27

When trouble comes knocking on our door and pushes its way in without being invited, there is a place we can go where trouble has no power over of us. There is Help in that place that rises up and does not back down. Trouble has to go. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Morning Minute 11-25

When the world gets us down and we think we are too weary to face it another day.... there is One who gives strength to carry on and lifts our heads high to see glorious new hope. But you, O LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts my head high. Psalm 3:3

Morning Minute 11-24

During this most thankful of seasons, may we all look to God to give us true joy that nothing on earth can give. He can restore so many things to us that we think we have lost forever. He is great and greatly to be praised! Restore us, O LORD, and bring us back to you again! Give us back the joys we once had. Lamentations 5:21

Morning Minute 11-21

Today is Sunday! Today is a day set aside especially to praise our Lord. Praise Him today. Honor Him. Sing a love song from your heart to the One who died for you. Sing forth the honor of His name: make His praise glorious. Psalm 66:2

Morning Minute 11-20

Today may we thank God for all things and remember God hears us when we pray. He is faithful and just, merciful and true. He knows what is best for us. We must follow where He leads. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. John 12:26

Morning Minute 11-19

"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." ~Jesus Christ He said it so... I'm not worried. I ain't scared! I think that should cover today's morning minute.

Morning Minute 11-18

It is so hard to watch the ones we love make decisions that we know are wrong and see them travel down the wrong paths. Now think of God..how He loves us and has to watch all of us mess up from time to time. But He is so patient with us. We too must love as God loves. May we practice patience today. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud I Corinthians 13:4

Morning Minute 11-17

Today-Wednesday! Those born on Wednesday are said to be full of woe. What is woe? an exclamation of grief, distress, or lamentation. Woah! God said we are to be filled with His Spirit which fills us with joy no matter what day we are born on. When God comes in woe has to go!  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11

Morning Minute 11-16

Today-Tuesday! Those born on Tuesday are said to be full of grace. Actually, it is by God's grace all are born and reborn on acceptance of the Truth of our Savior Jesus Christ-born on earth as a man full of grace. Praise God for His grace! The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:14

Morning Minute 11-15

There is a name above every name. It is a powerful name. It is a precious name. It is the name of Jesus. Speak it today. Take it with you today wherever you go, whatever you do. And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. Matthew 1:16

Morning Minute 11-13

Can hearts truly be broken? There are times in our lives when hurt so bad deep inside makes us feel broken and shaken. When overwhelming pain comes against us there is a solid place we can go to find peace and wholeness. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me t...o the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2

MM 11-12

Remember when God answered the prayer you prayed ten years ago, five years ago, last year, last week? How easily we sometimes forget all that God has done. He brings us out of darkness, heals, saves and delivers us from oh so many things during our lifetimes. May we never forget. Praise Him. I remember the days of old. I ponder all your great works. I think about what you have done. Psalm 143:5

Morning Minute 11-11

Each Christian has a ministry they are designed for. So many let gifts and callings sit dormant, waiting for the church to send them. The disciples were not sent by "the church", but by Jesus Christ Himself. So are we. Jesus has sent us and we should go. We must be His hands and feet in our world...on our jobs, ...in our schools, in our neighborhoods every single day.

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. John 20:21

Morning Minute 11-10

We have all heard when you have done all you know to do just stand, but sometimes it is really hard to stand when facing an ever-present continuous raging storm that never seems to end. No matter how hard, don't give up. Stay true and don't forget what you are standing for.

Be on guard. Stand t...rue to what you believe. Be courageous. Be strong. I Corinthians 16:13

MM 11-9

Of all God's promises, one that lets us know without a single doubt for sure and for certain that all of His promises will come to pass is found in the last Book of God's Book of Promises. New is coming! BELIEVE IT! His Words are true and faithful.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And
he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Revelation 21:5

Morning Minute 11-8

In times of hurt and loneliness - when we feel we are caught in a trap with no escape, remember we can turn our eyes to Jesus, the Author and Finisher, the Prince of Peace, the Healer of the hurting, the Rescuer of those in trouble

My eyes are continually toward the LORD, For He will pluck my feet out of the net. Turn to me and be gracious to me, For I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses Psalm 25:15-18

Morning Minute 11-7

On this day let us praise God for all He has given. If we have breath we should not be silent, but proclaim our praises to Him while we have the awesome opportunity to do so.

The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence. But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD! Psalm 115:17-18

MM 11-6

A great man of God once said, "Honesty is the only policy." This includes honesty with ourselves. Sin is sin. And most sins we know are sins even as we are committing them. May we all be honest with ourselves and turn from sin., even those we don't like to admit are sin.

Keep me from deliberate sins! Don't let... them... control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. Psalm 19:13

Morning Minute 11-5

Things in life sometimes take us by surprise. Things in life sometimes anger us, but we must be careful about how we react to these things. We are called to be a light - an example to others who are watching and listening.

And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! Does a spring of water bubble out with both freshwater and bitter water? James 3:10-11

MM 11-3

Ever played mercy with someone? When we cry mercy the other person grants mercy and let's go. Ever played mercy with yourself? Most would say no, but actually, we do this by not letting go and calling for help when we hurt. When we are tired of the pain, we can cry for mercy from God who will hear and grant help to all who cry out in the time of need. Let go of self-inflicted pain.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

11-2

We don't understand how God can take the situation we are in and turn it around. But His plans for us are good plans. We can't see the wind but know it is there and can't see a baby growing inside a mother's tummy, but know it is there...so it is with God. He is blowing His breath into our lives, helping us to grow into what He desires we become.

God's ways are as hard to discern as the pathways of the wind, and as mysterious as a tiny baby being formed in a mother's womb. Ecclesiastes 11:5

Morning Minute 11-1

If today you need someone to tell you exactly what it is you should do and have no idea who to turn to, who to trust... Turn to God. He is our Guide forever. He will guide us in all truth and show us who we can trust.

For this God is our God forever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. Psalm 48:14
