Christians are blessed with the accessibility of God's Word to guide us. God trusts us with His Word to live it out. His Word is not to be argued over but shared with those who are hungry to hear it. Timothy, guard what God has entrusted to you. Avoid godless, foolish discussions with those who oppose you with their so-called knowledge. I Timothy 6:20

Just when you think you have taken all you can take God shows up in the middle of the battle. The battle may not be quite over, but He grants a moment of rest - a calm - a space of grace. And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage. Ezra 9:8

Be careful not to allow the cares of this world cause you to carelessly turn from Christ who cares for you so much. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. I Peter 5:7

There is a race to be run by those of us who are weak, who face darkness, who face an army of enemies, who have walls to leap over, BUT we have a helper running with us. Praise God !! 29 For You, O Lord, are my Lamp; the Lord lightens my darkness. 30 For by You I run through a troop; by my God, I leap over a wall II Samuel 22

Isn't it amazing that the same God who created light to shine into a dark world also sent His light to shine into our hearts through Christ? Wow! The Creator of the whole universe loved us that much. Shine for Him today. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ II Corinthians 4:6

He is the Healer of our past. I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast. Jeremiah 30:17 the Hope for our future...And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 31:17 And our Helper for today... So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me Hebrews 13:6

There is a place of refuge where we can go when we feel like we are fighting a losing battle. Cry out to Jesus. He will hear and rescue. Psalm 142: 5 Then I pray to you, O LORD. I say, "You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life. 6 Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me fr...om my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.

Even though none of us are good we are called to live in a "good" Godly way that pleases our Father in Heaven. May we each become more and more like Christ today. Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You are doing this already, and we encourage you to do so more and more I Thessalonians 4:1

When we are in the middle of a trial we often want to throw in the towel and give up. Don't give up! Don't quit. Endure for God is working in the middle of the trial to grow who you are in Him. James 1:3-4 For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance i...s fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything

This week many of us will be faced with tough decisions. The decisions we make about battles we are facing affect many lives. As King Ahab was about to go into battle one of his advisors advised him to first seek God's opinion. The advice is still great advice for us today. But Jehoshaphat also said to the king of Israel, "Inquire first for the word of the LORD I Kings 22:5

It is often said man is never closer to God than when he is on his knees. Today let each of us find a place (wherever it may be) that we may be so near to God that we can feel Him breathe on us. Let us draw near to God our maker and worship Him today. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. Psalm 95:6

May today be a day we all find renewed hope in something we have almost given up on. Dream again. Hope again. Believe again! May we expect great things with confidence and truly believe they will arrive if we patiently wait. But if we look forward to something we don't have yet, we must wait patiently and confidently. Romans 8:25

Things in this world are so unsure. We never know from one day to the next, or even one minute to the next what will change BUT God has offered us a gift of a Kingdom that will never change nor end. Thank God for His unshakeable Kingdom. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.  Hebrews 12:28

Got troubles? Good news: they won't last forever. And when troubles end, joy will come. So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever. II Corinthians 4:18

When the world gets you down remember the power of Christ that lives within those who love Him. Jesus said: In the world, you will have trouble But take heart I have overcome the world. John 16:33 If Jesus overcame so shall we! We are overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
