Life is full of choices and decisions. If honesty prevailed most everyone would admit they desire to make the right choice and the best decision.  There is advise available to all who seek it. God wants to guide us. We must learn how to listen for His voice.  Psalm 95:7 Oh yes, He's our God, and we're the people He pastures, the flock He feeds. Drop everything and listen, listen as He speaks:
If on this day you should feel battle weary and weak; if chaos seems to be all around,  look unto the Lord and sincerely ask, "Lord give me strength to carry on,  Lord, speak your peace into this situation."  He will hear and answer. He is a strength giver and peacemaker.

Psalm 29:11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Freedom is not simply being loosed from chains that once had you bound, true freedom comes when you realize you must set free things you are binding..  Let go! Don't hold on so tightly to something that you only chain yourself again. Do not fear!  Break every yoke! ... To undo the bands of the yoke, And to let the oppressed go free And break every yoke. Isaiah 58:6

People can bring us down. Some make us feel used. Others make us feel useless.  We are not created to serve people, but God. Hold your head high! God who has called you sees you as useful.  Lead a life worthy of God, who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. I Thessalonians 2:12  NRS

Time moves progressively forward and cannot be stopped by man. However, we do have the power to stop wasting the time that we have been given. The harvest is great, laborers are few. Time's a wastin'; let's get it done, shall we?

John 7:6 Therefore Jesus told them, "The right time for me has not yet come, but for you any time is right. NIV
When in a valley we never wish to stay, when on a mountain top we never want to leave. Remember God has a purpose for both. There is much to be learned in the valley that will take us to the next mountain. We must remain faithful and know where ever we are change is not only possible but probable. Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. Luke 3:5
Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat.   Matthew 15:32

On days when we come close to giving in and giving up,  tired and sometimes hungry - remember Jesus has compassion on those who continue on with Him even in times when we doubt and fail to even see the reason we must continue on.
Today if you wonder how it is you are supposed to continue on another day, Jesus has that answer.    To truly be a follower, (a disciple) a continuer, we must continue in His Word which teaches us the way we should go. Open the Word and find just the Word you need to continue on.   Then said Jesus... If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.  John 8:31
There is no greater feeling of safety than to be a child nestled close in the arms of someone who loves and protects you from all harm. That great feeling of being safe and secure is available to all who are in God's care.  Even when you are chased by those who seek your life, you are safe in the care of the LORD your God, secure in his treasure pouch! But the lives of your enemies will disappear like stones shot from a sling. I Samuel 25:29  NLT
To look at others and tell them what we honestly think they need to do to change is sometimes hard, but not nearly as hard as honestly looking at ourselves and admitting what we know needs to change.   Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord. Lamentations 3:40
But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?  Matthew 26:8
There are many things in life that we don't understand the intent or the purpose of.  God's Word says there is a purpose for everything under Heaven. What we may see as a waste of our time or resources Jesus may see as the perfect sacrifice.
The battle may seem fierce. The enemy may seem strong, but remember God who is with us has reinforced us and promised  that we will prevail.
And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.  Jeremiah 15:20
Doubt doesn't begin in our minds but in our hearts.  We must learn to not let our hearts be troubled for Jesus is in our midst. He will take away all fear and doubt. When He fills our hearts questions disappear.
Luke 24:38 And He said to them, Why are you disturbed and troubled, and why do such doubts and questionings arise in your hearts?
Our time here is very brief. We must make every single moment of every day count for the cause of Christ.
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work John 9:4
May we never experience this...
The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. Jeremiah 8:20
GOD roars from Zion, shouts from Jerusalem. Earth and sky quake in terror. But GOD is a safe hiding place, a granite safe house for the children of Israel Joel 3:16 Lord, be my safe hiding place today.

There are so many people who pass briefly through our lives. May we remember to offer each of them the Bread of Life and bring comfort to them in some way before they pass on. And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on. Genesis 18:5

Every day is full of choices. Making the right choice is easy if we choose to follow after God's advice in all that we do. Choose Christ - Choose the right choice. Who is the man who reverently fears and worships the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way that he should choose. Psalm 95:12
Gladness and joy will soon replace sorrow and mourning for all who are redeemed by the Lord. O what a glorious day! Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. Isaiah 51:11
God deserves our very best today. No matter what the situation looks like...shout for victory! May we offer Him new worship, new praises, and a new song for He is Victor. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for He hath done marvelous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory. Psalm 98:1
When we have done all that we know to do we are often told we should just stand. Today I encourage you to do to a little more. I say walk. Walk away from the past and toward the future. Walk toward promise and hope. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk Acts 3:6
Where's the rhyme? Where's the reason? Here is the rhyme ......I'm thanking you, GOD... I'm singing songs that rhyme your name.~Psalm 18:49 THE MESSAGE Here is the reason for the rhyme ... Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. ~Isaiah 1:18 KJV

Martha was busy in the kitchen while Mary sat at Jesus' feet. Martha felt she was abandoned to do all the work, but Jesus quickly told her that Mary was right where she needed to be. Today don't sweat the small stuff. Choose the good part. Take time to sit at the feet of Jesus  But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; 42 but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Luke 10:41-42 NAS
If you feel it is proper and safer to keep silent and hold your peace... remember there comes a time to open your mouth and proclaim the word of the Lord everywhere...even in the city.
Acts 18:9 "Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; 10 for I am with you, and no one will attack you t...o hurt you; for I have many people in this city."
Everything we do for Christ is of Christ. Every gift and talent we have was planned for us to use for His purpose long ago before we even were. Who are we to mess with the plan? Use everything you have been given to bring glory to God. II Timothy 1:8 We can only keep on going, after all, by the power of God, 9 who first saved us and then called us to this holy work. We had nothing to do with it. It was all his idea, a gift prepared for us in Jesus long before we knew anything about it. ~THE MESSAGE

After many trials, Job did not deny God but did wonder why and lose hope of living. Today men still face trails and ask God why, but can know there is always hope of a life fresh and new because of a man who died on a tree for you and for me. JESUS LIVES! For a tree, there is always hope. Chop it down and it still has a chance-- its roots can put out fresh sprouts.

The tongue is full of deadly poison. We must be careful not to accuse falsely with our tongues. In doing so the tongue can kill others as well as ourselves - for, in the end, God is the judge. Think before you speak. "Stay clear of false accusations. Don't contribute to the death of innocent and good people. I don't let the wicked off the hook. Exodus 23:7 THE MESSAGE

Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour. ~Matthew 14:28 Jesus saw this woman's faith clearly. Can Jesus see our faith that clearly? Can others see our faith? It is easy to say, "I have faith." But can your faith be seen? We must live what we believe so the world can see our faith.

We often speak of those who move from humble beginnings to being successful as rising above their circumstances to achieve greatness. As Christians that is what we are called to do always. We are to live a life that exemplifies Christ in us the hope of glory to all we meet. ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! Isaiah 60:1
